NSI Materials?

If we cannot afford to make the trip to Florida to attend the NSI, would it be possible to pay for copies of the information that is available.  I would LOVE to be able to attend, but it is just not possible.  However, I want to do the best job I can running and teaching my Read 180 classes.  I hate to know that there are wonderful, helpful materials and resources out there that I cannot access.  Would paying for the resources or access to those resources be a possibility?  I know it is not as beneficial as attending the NSI, but at least it would be something I could use to improve my Read 180 classes and help my students the best way I can.

  • Hi slehner: Thank you for your post on the message boards and for your feedback about the value of the handouts from the READ 180 National Summer Institute. At this time the handouts from the Institute are only available to attendees of the Institute.  However, as we move forward with the planning of the 2011 READ 180 National Summer Institute, I will check with the Institute presenters about the possibilty of granting access to the 2010 materials to the Community.  As soon as I have any more information about this I will be sure to reach out to you!  Thank you again! - Laura
