Reading Counts for System 44 too?

Are the System 44 books included in the Reading Counts quizzes?

All the S44 books have SRC! Quizzes. In SAM, you have to click on the add quizzes link. That will open the Add Quiz Wizard in a browser. The only thing that the wizard ask you to do is to source that zip file. This file lives on the Server CD. Thanks

System 44 students should probably read the book several times before they take the quiz.  Teachers I have worked with talk about the students reading the books several times.  Some of the possible readings of the book include - 1.  with the audio 2.  without the audio 3.  with or without the audio concentrating on the "React" questions 4.  with or without the audio to answer the "Think. Talk. Write." question 5. without the audio to find the answer the "Re-read." question 6. without the audio to complete the graphic organizer and the QuickWrite Some students do not need that many readings of the book.  Teachers are not requiring written answers to some of the questions, but teachers are using the students' answers to determine when the students are ready to take the quizzes.
