ITS page asking for Flash Player 8!!!

It's September 2018, and my Flash Player is up to date, which is currently Flash 31.0 something. But when I try to access the Teachers' Guide from the ITS page, the page asks for Flash Player 8, and won't load any of the resources. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I had some issues with Flash Player and was able to get it to work by downloading Flash Player 8. Flash Player 8 is different than just Flash. If you are having trouble, please give Tech Support a call at 1-800-283-5974. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community

Hi, Dee. Thank you for your response. Are you sure about what you wrote? From what I just read, if we are being very precise, Flash is a platform and Flash Player is the app or plugin. I have looked up in my Chrome settings, and I have a later version of the Flash Player, which is, which is the current version. Downgrading to Flash Player 8 sounds strange. It's kind of you to offer to have me contact Tech Support, but I don't think that is a free service, and at this time I also don

(continued) It's kind of you to offer to have me contact Tech Support, but I don't think that is a free service, and at this time I also don't think my district is paying for it. In the past, I was able to access the Teacher's Guide and other materials through the ITS portal, which was convenient. In fact, I have been using those materials for the last 2 years, so I am not sure what was changed.

Have you tried a different browser? I just saw you mention "Chrome" as the browser. Take a look at this notice in Tech Support: https://www.hmhco.com/product-support/notices#notice-122. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community

I also poked around in the Tech Support website and found a couple other Notices about Chrome and Chromebooks. I personally do not use Chrome so I cannot address it accurately. I still suggest you give Tech Support a call at 1-800-283-5974. They are better equipped to address different browsers and computer platforms. They have protocols that they follow to help answer questions about Tech Support issues that I do not have. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community
