Questions answered correctly, but scored as wrong

Many of my students have complained that they typed a word correctly and the narractor stated that the word was spelled incorrectly. They very discouraged. What is the problem?

I am guessing that they are doing one of several things: taking longer than 30 seconds to enter the word, using capital letters when lower case letters are needed, using lower case letters when capital letters are needed, leaving out apostrophes, adding spaces before, in, or after the word. That is what I have found in the past. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community
