Is there a way to block unassigned quizzes for Independent Reading?

I have students who have read certain books previously in other schools. They are now getting on to Read 180 and taking the quizzes without my knowledge or permission even if they haven't yet read the book with me. Is there a way to block the students from taking the quizzes and only open them up when they are ready?

You cannot block them from taking the quizzes, but you can delete the quizzes in SAM Grading Tools. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community
