E-Book Entitled Riding Freedom

I have two students who were listening to the book and in both cases the recording stopped and spelled words. The students were on different pages. It was annoying. I did not see anyplace where I could change a setting for them. Is there a fix to this?

    I haven't been successful in getting this to repeat for me. I have been trying, so I thought I should report my lack of success. I double checked to settings and did not find one for the teacher to set or for the student to set. I am going to continue to research this. I just wanted you to know that you were not being left high and dry. Dee, Ask Dee at the Community

    Guess what! Just after I emailed you had been trying to get this problem to repeat and had not been successful, I was able to get it to happen. I still don't know what is causing it but have put in a request to see if it is a known bug. Dee, Ask Dee at the Community

    I have an answer, but not one we wanted. The problem is it is not a pre-recorded reading but a text to speech program for this book. The random spelling of words is an artifact of the the text to speech process. If it cannot decipher a word will then spell it out. There currently is no setting to adjust this, but the tech support person I have been working with will be reporting it to the development team. Dee, Ask Dee at the Community
