Now that the 12th Annual HMH 180 Awards have officially launched, here are some guidelines that will help steer you through the nomination process.

WHAT ARE THE HMH 180 AWARDS?

Born over 12 years ago, this national contest proudly honors READ 180, System 44, and MATH 180 students who have shown exemplary achievement and the teachers who display professional excellence in guiding them through the intervention programs. To date, over 100 students and close to 50 teachers have been honored. In the past two years alone, over 350 teachers and 600 students were nominated for consideration.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE NOMINATED?

Students and Teachers

The 180 Awards are open to students using READ 180, MATH 180, and/or System 44 in Grades 3 through 12 and educators using any stage or version of these programs in Grades 3 through 12 throughout the United States. Each nominated student must be a US citizen in order to apply. One or more nominations may be submitted per teacher, principal, or other school/technology administrator, as applicable, but each student nominee should only be nominated for one program: READ 180, MATH 180, or System 44. They may not be nominated for multiple programs. Similarly, educators may only be nominated for one of the three programs.
