Many of my students spend a majority of their time in the spelling zone. Any suggestions to get them to work equally across the zones?
You can show them the reports that show how much time they spend in each zone. I found that some students enjoy the Spelling Zone and tend to want to stay in it longer. Also, if they are struggling with the Spelling Zone, check to see if they are placed at the correct Level in the software. Their scores will indicate that. Anything much below 70% will be your clue.
