Reading zone comprehension questions

Does anyone know of a way to report possible errors in the comprehension questions in Universal's Reading Zone? Or to get questions answered about specific questions the students see. A student was assigned Compare and Contrast as one of her comprehension strategies in the Freedom Writers segment. The question: "One effect of securing a job as a teacher". The correct answer (as indicated by the computer) was something along the lines of "She lived and died during WWII". The teacher in the text is Ms. G. The person who lived and died during WWII was Anne Frank. I'm not sure if it is a glitch in the system or if I'm misunderstanding the question.

I will report this to New York. They will pass it on to the editors. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community

We need to know which Level of the software your student is using. Thanks. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community

She was in the Freedom Writers segment, level 1. Is this the best method of reporting such technical errors? We've been encountering them more often recently. One of my girls is working on Brain Power, Level 4. In the Fluency Zone, Proofreading she needs to fix the misspelled words. Several of the sentences appear as one long word with no way to fix it. EX: Istretchedthesweatertomakeitbigger.

One of my boys is working on Growing Power, Level 3. In the Fluency Zone, Spelling Challenge the system told him fortunately should be spelled fORtunately, with that awkward spelling before he could move on to the next part.

I have reported the problem given here by Mcuevas. Thank you very much for alerting us to this issue.

I have reported both issues to the editors. Using the Community is one way to handle this. You can also let Tech Support know at 1-800-283-5974.
