Read 180 and Chromebook Issues

Good morning, We have a 1 to 1 Chromebook deployment at our high school and just started using Read 180 NextGen this year. There have been some issues when trying to use the Chromebooks. Logging in sometimes gives us problems. Sometimes the students will receive a "502 Bad Gateway" or "IDP Link Not Supported" error trying to login. Also, some have been kicked out of their activities with a "Looks like something's not right. Error: HTTP Status -1" or "Looks like something's not right. Error: Activity (some numbers) has already been completed.". The activity has not been completed and the 20 minute timeout has not been reached. I have contacted support several times and am now reaching out to the community to see how you were able to get your Chromebooks to work with the program. Someone suggested using Windows desktops, but that is not a feasible option for us. Thanks.

    I know they are working on Chromebook issues for Universal. I'm not certain about Next Generation. I would check to see that the US keyboard is the one that is selected on the Chromebook. It might not be a Chromebook issue but a network issue. We fought with our actual computers over and over one time, and the problem turned out to be our network itself.
