Logitech Headsets Not Recording

Any ideas why my brand new Logitech headsets may not be working properly? When students go to record, it cuts them off and says that their recording is too short. Sometimes it tells them that their mic isn't connected. I have checked to make sure that it's plugged in all the way, not on mute, and the level is up at 100 on the computer settings. Why is it not picking up? (It picks up fine for them to log on to the Software, but after that is when we seem to have issues.)

This sounds to me like there is a setting that is off on your computers or an update to the software that may be needed. Please give Tech Support a call at 1-800-283-5974. They will be able to walk you through a checklist of things to figure out why there are problems recording. Dee, Ask Dee at the READ 180 Community
